With this years Uptiding Festival drawing ever closer I felt it might be nice to take a look back at last years festival with a view to wetting your appatite for what is on offer from this great new festival. On the first day of the 2008 festival the Whitby charter boats sailed out to a stunning sunrise in the eastern skies and the fishing that followed was very good indeed. Day 1 saw a mass of fish taken from the inshore grounds with the best going to Simon West from Stockton 9lb 8 Oz.
