Tom Mathers from Barnsley a regular long time angler and visitor to Whitby topped his personal best on Sunday whilst fishing off  Two dogs charter boat skippered by John Wilford with a magnificent 32lb 14oz ling which he coaxed out from a wreck Tom also managed a 18lber on the same day what a shame he had not caught it during next weeks w.c.s.a. autumn fishing festival which starts on the 11th of September and runs until the 26th of September as nothing this size has won for many a year, still there are plenty of big ling showing this year so lets hope one of you can pull another one out during this years competition
