During 2008 we were lucky enough to locate a few Halibut on board trot on. Although we never specifically targeted these fish it is always a pleasure to see such beautiful specimens come to the boat. I am sure you will enjoy the pictures.

A Lucky angler onboard Trot On managed to hook and land a porbeagle shark in the Whitby angling festival. As Sharks are not allowed to be weighed in during the festival for conservation reasons, the fish was returned to fight another day.

Local Junior angler Dan Craig sure had a “grand” day out on Paul Eddon’s Charter Boat Trot On in this years Spring boat fishing festival at Whitby. Dans catch, a ling of almost 15 pounds made him the youngest winner to date of any of the Whitby Angling Festivals, and earned him the first placed prize of £1000 for the biggest fish caught in the event.
