How very stange apart from one ling all the top 7 fish weighed in the spring festival were pollock and only Oz’s between them was it anglers tactics? the weather? During 2008 we were lucky enough to locate a few Halibut on board trot on. Although we never specifically targeted these fish it is always a pleasure to see such beautiful specimens come to the boat. I am sure you will enjoy the pictures.

A Lucky angler onboard Trot On managed to hook and land a porbeagle shark in the Whitby angling festival. As Sharks are not allowed to be weighed in during the festival for conservation reasons, the fish was returned to fight another day.
