Well it was cracking day today today the sun was shineing the sea was more of less calm and some really quality fish to go with it the lads had a very steady day we were wrecking all day and it was what i would call a very steady picking cod,ling,and pollock were the order of the day

Paul Danby wins the latest Whitby Angling Festival with a fine Pollack of 12 Pounds 4 Ounces caught from Paul Eddons boat Trot On. Mr Danby is the lucky winner of the £1000 cash prize for heaviest fish in the festival

We Had Glenn Stocks on Sea Otter 2 on Sunday. We fished a wreck out on the 20 mile ground and Glenn had some cracking cod. A couple of the fish went into double figures, the average stamp was also very good with a lot of fish between 4-7lb.
