Here is a sneak preview of Mick Leonards new boat that’s hopefully replacing the well loved Sea urchin, the deal has been done now just need to get her from south wales to Whitby then get the relevant code of practices applied and were fishing! 

 Mick says the new boat has an imense deck space for you anglers, at 18ft  x  11ft   you could nearly drop the sea urchin on the back! 

with heaps of room to carry 12 with ease there is  also room starboard side of wheelhouse giving the option for the average size group to all fish from one side  (less tangles?)  and a real luxury for me a powerful winch for lifting the anchor during winter up tiding trips ahhh blisssss. 

 while not a fast boat she should still make 8/10 mph which is almost twice the speed of the old boat, and this will give more options to the marks I choose as the days conditions dictate

If all goes to plan I could be running by mid April so might just make the spring festival, fingers x
