Linzie H

Linzie H is an 8 metre Starfish completely re-furbished during 2010-2011 for the sole purpose of taking angling parties. A brand new engine and gearbox were fitted to ensure performance and reliability.

Linzie H carries a full range of electronics including , colour sounder, computer chart plotter and a 2 kw Radar. Full seating is provided for eight anglers,and in most weather conditions it is possible for eight anglers to fish from one side of the boat, reducing the possibility of tangled gear

We aim to provide a service for anglers who may not wish to book a standard 10 hour trip. Our standard trip is eight hours but we are flexible in our approach and shorter trips can be arranged.

Linzie H is an economical boat to run and this is reflected in both our prices and in our policy regarding numbers of people carried.

We are licenced to carry eight passengers but we also aim to accommodate smaller groups and single anglers .We are able to to go to sea with as few as four paying passengers

Our aim is for anglers to enjoy a day out in a relaxed atmosphere, If fishing is poor , or conditions unpleasant we like to offer our customers a shortened trip with a mutually agreed price reduction.

Novices are made especially welcome and friendly tuition is available along with rod reel and tackle hire at very reasonable rates.

We aim to make a special effort to help novice anglers to manage their tackle successfully.

For visitors on holiday in or around Whitby evening or afternoon private charter trips can be arranged

We aim to be environmentally friendly . No undersized fish will be retained aboard ,and we are pleased to operate a catch and release policy if anglers request it.
