Several cod well over the twenty pounds mark were taken on the 70 hour trip on board chieftain charters. The sailing date was June 28th. You can read more about recent Chieftain trips by clicking here.

Just a quick update after after a few recent trips, the bigger fish are showing in the deeper water at the moment.
The 70 hour trip gave some excellent fishing, with two cod in one drop coming to a grand total of 34.5lb and the heaviest fish a Ling coming in at 27lb.
