As well as winners any angler who attended this years summer festival are more than welcome to attend the presentation night on the 3rd of September
after the short presentation there will be a charity auction in aid of the Whitby R.N.L.I. and Grace Murray

all the w.c.s.a.boats will be entering you can pick your boat and skipper from the boats tab top of every page on this site

Me and Damo had a trip out with mick on wednesday. The forecast wasn’t brilliant with a stiff SW wind that kept us fishing inside all day. First stop… Mackeral duty to collect some bait. then we were off.

The lads from Boulby mine sailed with ohn on 2 dogs today. The fishing was once again straight out ofthe top draw with plenty of double figure cod and ling.

Paul on sea-otter 2 has glenn stocks on board this week the main sponsor of the festival with john and richard they have had some great fishing since saturday apart from nearly been blown out of the water on sunday richard and john both had cod to around the 10lb mark richards best [...]

Mick Roe from Preston has won this years summer angling festival with a ling of 26lb 2 ounces caught from Paul Kilpatrick’s boat Sea Otter 2. Mick is the lucky winner of our first prize of £5000. He was also a daily winner and winner of the ling section.

Looking at my mid week festival bookings I have noticed I have anglers most days, but some days only three or so on, and as the entry is £40 per boat this in my opinion will discourage my small groups and individuals to enter which is there main reason for booking those dates [...]

Paul Danby wins the latest Whitby Angling Festival with a fine Pollack of 12 Pounds 4 Ounces caught from Paul Eddons boat Trot On. Mr Danby is the lucky winner of the £1000 cash prize for heaviest fish in the festival
