Thanks for info on TUT.
He arranged charters with me in the late 70s and early 80s.
He had a charter skipper friend in Whitby and he crewed with him when he could.
Finally packing up the building trade and skippering a boat himself, well, by the sound of it.
PS Yellow boat, Sea Roma is an ex Ramsgate boat, built here in the early 70s.
Many Thanks

Hi Allan, Tut was a skipper at Whitby and I know many of the lads speak very highly of him. I think they also named a peace of ground after him. "Tuts garden" is about 2 mile off Hawsker and a phenomenal cod mark through the summer.

If you put up your question in our forum I'm sure some of the lads will answer you better than I can. You may also find this topic of interest. http://www.whitbyseaanglers.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=8993.0
